Education Outreach Coordinator
Mission:
The Education Outreach Coordinator (EOC) works under the direct supervision of the Public Affairs Officer (PAO) or the PAO designee. S/he coordinates Consulate General Public Diplomacy (PD) education engagement with Emerging Voices (EV) audiences, reaching youth, minorities, and those who influence them through targeted outreach to secondary school, academic institutions that teach English, promotion of American Studies content and curricula in institutions of higher learning, and promotion of academic study in the U.S. through Education USA advising programs. S/he coordinates Consulate General English Language Outreach to EV audiences and conceives, develops and implements both in-person and virtual English language teaching and learning projects and activities.
Profil:
This position requires at least three years of progressively responsible experience in a multinational educational or cultural work environment is required, with education, communication, marketing and public outreach duties as a significant part of the job.
Physician
Mission:
The incumbent is expected to provide primary urgent and emergency outpatient medical care services to all eligible American employees and their family members. Additionally the incumbent will provide emergency and occupational health services to all employees of the Mission. Services will be provided through direct patient evaluation, examination, and treatment. The incumbent is responsible for determining when hospitalization/medical evacuation is required and arranging all appropriate aspects of the patient’s care. S/he will participate in after-hours call responsibilities with other health unit team members. The job holder has significant impact on the entire embassy customer base in a variety of levels and fashions, including decisions on employees’ abilities to work, continued ability to be posted in their overseas assignment based on medical conditions that require ongoing management, and Medevac decisions and implications. The Front Office and Management Officer will look to this position to play a vital role in creating a healthier workplace, writing policies and providing advice on how to improve the health condition and awareness of the entire mission.
Profil:
A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience post-graduate training in primary care (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine) with at least 50% of the provider’s time involved with direct patient care during that time is required.
Human Resources Assistant
Mission:
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for a full range of assigned HR functions at post. S/he advises on Human Resources policies, procedures and regulations; host country laws and regulations. S/he manages performance review program. The Human Resources Assistant is the Embassy Training Coordinator and the Payroll Liaison. S/he prepares and delivers multiple types of presentations and training sessions. The incumbent reports directly to the Senior HR Specialist position.
Profil:
A minimum of three years of progressively responsible HR work experience in government or private sector involving analysis, evaluation and reporting is required.
Office Management Assistant
Mission:
The incumbent is the sole Office Manager in the 9-person Political Section and performs duties pertaining to a multitude of Political functions, both classified and unclassified. The incumbent will need to work independently and possess strong communication and organizational skills. S/he manages section resources, identifies efficiencies, and improves section and mission wide policies. S/he is the focal point for inquiries to the section; reviews and routes incoming telegrams, correspondence, demarches, and diplomatic notes; prepares and coordinates outgoing items; and supports travel and transportation needs of the section. The incumbent also provides extensive support for VIP visitors, conferences, and meetings. S/he manages all the section’s databases and electronic files. S/he reports directly to the Deputy Political Counselor. As needed, the position provides backup support to the Economic Section, the Regional Security Office, and the Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission. Incumbent will require unescorted access to the Controlled Access Area (CAA) and a Secret security clearance.
Profil:
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in office management, or other related field is required.
